Wang Weijen, FHKIA, HKIUD, Design Director of Wang Weijen Architecture, Andrew KF Lee Professor in Architecture Design at the University of Hong Kong, Director of Center for Chinese Architecture and Urbanism at HKU; Howard Freeman Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley, Editorial Director of HKIA Journal OCCUPY. He received MArch from UC Berkeley, MS and BS from National Taiwan University. He was the Head of Department at HKU, Visiting Professor at University of Montreal and MIT, Associate at TAC 1987-1994. He was the Curator of Hong Kong Pavilion 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, and Curator of 2007 Hong Kong Biennale of Architecture\Urbanism. His design projects focused on campus and urban-rural architecture, has received AIA Award, HKIA Award, Good Design Award, Far Eastern Architectural Award, China Architectural Media Award, WA Architectural Award, as well as Award from Green Building Council. With research focuses on typology of Chinese Architecture and Cities, his writings and designs published in AJ, T+A, TA, WA, as well as Domus, Mark, Stradt Bauwelt, and Dialogue, including books Refabricating City by Oxford University Press, Regenerating Patio: Studies of Macau Historical Urban Fabric, as well as design monographs Urban Courtyardism by UED 2011, AW 2014, TA  2010 and 2018.
